Ar. Devika Mohan
STUDIO KLEI is an architectural design firm founded by Ar. Devika Mohan, a highly accomplished architect with a unique journey. Devika earned her degree from Sathyabama University in Chennai and embarked on her career in the architectural field. While working in Kochi, she had the opportunity to work with a renowned architect, showcasing her talent and dedication.
In 2014, Devika’s remarkable design skills earned her the second prize for the “ICONIC BUILDING OF COCHIN CITY ” at the Young Architects Fest held at the prestigious Bolagatty Palace in Cochin. Her talent and commitment led her to new horizons as she ventured to Nigeria, where she continued her architectural practice for two years, gaining diverse experiences and insights.
Ultimately, Devika returned to her roots in Kerala and decided to establish her own architectural practice, giving rise to Studio KLEI.
Studio Klei’s design process is grounded in a thoughtful and site-specific approach. It emerges from a responsive and sensitive understanding of the requirements that is not generic but unique to the context of site . This will lay as the foundation for a concept which in turn organically evolves to a unique design.
